Precigeo Webinars

precigeo brings you a series of webinars to help you learn how it all works, to help you meet other people in the precigeo community, and to share some of the tricks-and-tips that can make your experience even more rewarding and successful.

A webinar is a web-based meeting of anywhere from 2 to 2-thousand people. The meeting is run, and presentations are made by, precigeo staff. You get to see the presenter's computer desktop, and hear their spoken description. You can also ask questions of the presenter, and exchange private messages with other attendees.

precigeo uses a service called GoToMeeting to run the webinars. When you attend your first webinar, you will be asked to install a small client program that gives you access to these features in a secure, stable fashion. It asks you to enter your name and email address, but even this is used only to provide services; it uses your name to identify you to the webinar's leader, and your email address to send transcripts, support files, or anything else you may request during the webinar. Of course, you can also opt-in to their newsletter!
